We have developed it further from the previous model as a ultra high repulsion domed cup face. The rounded face shape creates a large deflection on impact and achieves a high repulsion performance that is made possible only because the rules do not apply.
The two grooves (twin face channels) applied along the entire circumference of the backside of the face create a larger deflection, allowing a high repulsion force to be maintained even when a shot was not hit on the sweet spot.
Deep face shapes produce a high repulsion force but tend to decrease the moment of inertia. However, a weight of 40 g, which accounts for more than 20% of the head weight, is attached to the back face part to achieve a high moment of inertia. It skillfully combines a high repulsion performance and straightness.
Maximizes the energy efficiency on impact by bringing the hardness of the head close to the softness of the ball. The carbon monocoque structure further enhances the effect and increases the initial velocity through the deflection effect not only of the face but of the entire body.
The weight of the back part of the head pushes out the carbon part and amplifies the deflection effect of the head.
By adopting a frameless design that does not have a framework into which the carbon parts are fitted, we have achieved a further weight reduction and deflection. The monocoque structure created by integral molding, combined with the DI theory that allows the entire head to deflect, results in unprecedented deflection and flight.
Compared to a common carbon
composite head, the frameless design
and monocoque structure are many
times more expensive to manufacture.
There is a rule about how the shaft flexes that says “It must flex the same way in all directions.” However, this dual flex shaft changes the thickness (rigidity) of the shaft in the lateral and frontal directions, achieving an increase in the head speed while improving the hitting rate.
Thus it combines the advantages of two flexes (dual flexes) to achieve an ideal shaft with both carrying distance and stability.
Like the driver, it uses the Sat 2041 β titanium domed cup face to maximize the deflection produced on impact. It makes it possible to increase the initial velocity of the ball like never before. In addition, the new structure “Power Inner Weight” allows for an ultra-low center of gravity while deflecting the cup face, achieving high repulsion performance and an ultra-high trajectory. The ball lifts up easily. In addition, the highly rounded sole shape is designed to make it harder to duff.
“Wide round sole design” with a wider sole width and stronger roundness for all club numbers. It has a low center of gravity and the sole is easy to hit out of rough areas, and the ball naturally rises higher without being hit strongly. In addition, the square-channel design on all club numbers provides a stable spin even with a small amount of force, allowing you to aim for the green with a high trajectory. The hollow interior is filled with microurethane foam to suppress excess vibration and provide a comfortable impact feel when hitting the ball.
